Eye Care Camp for Seniors – Restoring Vision, Restoring Smiles
Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society recently organized a free eye care camp for senior citizens to address age-related vision problems and ensure better quality of life for our elders.
During the camp, experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists conducted comprehensive eye examinations for over [number] elderly participants, identifying conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and refractive errors. Free medicines, eyeglasses, and referrals for surgeries were provided to those in need.
The program also included awareness sessions on eye health, diet, and preventive care, empowering seniors to take proactive steps in maintaining their vision. Volunteers assisted participants throughout the day, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for everyone.
This initiative reflects our commitment to holistic community care — because clear vision is not just about seeing the world, but about maintaining independence, dignity, and wellbeing in later years.
