Nurturing the Young & Honoring the Aged
Founded in 1984 by Mr and Mrs S. Arokiasamy, Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society has been working tirelessly to support underprivileged communities.
Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society, established in 1984, is dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through holistic support programs. Our initiatives span primary and high school education, remedial centers, a children’s home, and dedicated programs for women’s empowerment and the elderly—with a special focus on individuals from SC and ST backgrounds.
Currently, we support over 350 children from remote villages, offering free education, nutritious meals, and medical care. Additionally, we support monthly needs, nutrition and medical support to 450 senior citizens.
Serving with Heart & Purpose

Why We Need You
Every helping hand makes a world of difference. Many individuals in our communities still lack access to basic necessities like education, healthcare, and emotional support. With your time, skills, or donations, we can reach more people, offer greater care, and build a stronger, more compassionate society. Whether it’s guiding a child, comforting the elderly, or simply listening — your presence can bring hope where it’s needed most. Join us in sharing and caring — together, we can create meaningful change.

Assistant Manager - Smile FoundationWe would like to thank the Rotary club of Chennai Mid city for giving us an award for the service carried out by Share and Care children’s welfare society. The rotary club was the main reason to bring out share and care in-front of people’s and donors’ eyesight. The Rotary club started to help us from 2019 to 2021. In the period, the first thing they did was recognized the senior staff of our society and appreciate them for the work. The second change the Rotary club did was renovating St. Xavier Primary school’s terrace. They sponsored for laying weathering course for our terrace floor which helps us from building damages. They also distributed monthly provisional kit with masks, sanitizers and medical kit to 300 Irular tribes in Tiruvallur district during covid lockdown. This helps the irular tribes very much as they suffered a lot during the lockdown. The club supported us by providing salary for our school staff for a year and also they sponsored for education and nutrition support for the school students for a year. The rotary club of Chennai mid-city is the first donor who supported us and helped us to overcome our struggle and stand in the field of helping others.
This is to certify that, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions, our organization sponsored INR 24 lakhs to M/s. Share & Care Children's Welfare Society (an NGO) who runs a school for underprivileged children in Thiruvallur educating around 200 students and the said fund was sponsored towards refurbishment of their school hostel building for the accommodation of around 40 children and for construction of additional toilets for the school children.
The project was completed by them in good faith and the project completion report was duly submitted to us.
We appreciate their contributions to the society and wishing them to continue the noble cause.

It is with great pleasure, I want to reiterate, the Management of Share and care Children's welfare society have enthusiastically taken up the Electrical revamping and some civil works like construction of Drainage, Sump, Septic tank etc. in their campus in their school at Katchur. This will greatly enhance the safety and comfort to all the teachers and the students.
It has motivated me to plan more similar revamping works to make the school a vibrant and lively school.
