Since 1984, Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society has made a lasting difference in the lives of marginalized communities across Tamil Nadu. Our achievements speak of compassion, dedication, and relentless service:
Education Programmes
- 8,000+ children supported with school and educational needs.
- 3,000 orphan and destitute children nurtured in our Children’s Homes.
- 1800+ first-generation learners educated from SC/ST communities.
Community Development
- 200 hut houses constructed for displaced or bonded families.
- 50 toilets built in Nainarkuppam fisherman’s village.
- Enabled water and electricity connections for underserved villages.
Nutrition & Care
- Providing free education, meals, and medical care to 200+ children from remote villages.
- Day-care centres for 50 elderly people, ensuring dignity in old age.
Women Empowerment
- 6500+ women empowered through skill training and development.
- Formed 350 women self-help groups and 20 elder groups.
- Supported 120 bonded families in transitioning to self-sufficiency.
