On 19th March 2025, Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society organized a Tobacco Awareness Program aimed at educating students about the harmful effects of tobacco use and promoting a healthier, addiction-free lifestyle.

The session included interactive discussions, informative presentations, and visual demonstrations to highlight the physical, mental, and social consequences of tobacco consumption. Resource persons and health educators explained the dangers of smoking and chewing tobacco, emphasizing how it leads to serious health issues such as cancer, heart disease, and respiratory problems.

The students and staff came together for a special ceremony, honoring the nation’s democratic values, freedom, and rich cultural heritage. The event was filled with inspiring speeches, flag hoisting, and performances that reinforced our commitment to the nation’s growth and progress, celebrating the unity and strength of India.

On 10th February 2025, Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society actively participated in National Deworming Day,The program was conducted with the support of healthcare professionals and school staff to ensure the safe and effective administration of deworming tablets to all students.

The event began with a brief awareness session, where children were educated on the importance of hygiene, clean eating habits, and the harmful effects of intestinal worms on health and growth. Students listened attentively as they learned how deworming helps improve concentration, physical development, and academic performance.

On 1st February 2025, Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society School, Christ King, celebrated its Annual Day for the academic year with grandeur and excitement. The event was graced by Mr. Ganeshram, a renowned artist and VFX expert, who honoured the occasion as the chief guest. His presence added immense value and inspiration to the celebration.

The management and staff worked with great creativity and dedication to introduce innovative ideas and refreshing concepts that made this year’s event truly special. The stage came alive with a vibrant display of talent and hard work, as students showcased a variety of performances including dance, drama, skits, and singing. Each act reflected the students’ enthusiasm, discipline, and passion, leaving the audience captivated.

The highlight of the evening was the prize distribution ceremony, where the chief guest felicitated the students for their achievements in academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth. His encouraging words motivated the young learners to pursue excellence in all areas of life.

The Annual Day was a celebration of creativity, unity, and the spirit of learning — a proud moment for the entire school community.

Pongal Day Celebrations

On 14th January 2025, the students, staff, and community of Share and Care Children’s Welfare Society School, Christ King, gathered with great enthusiasm to celebrate Pongal, the vibrant harvest festival of Tamil Nadu. The school campus was beautifully transformed, radiating a spirit of joy and unity, as we embraced the rich cultural heritage of the festival. The celebrations commenced with a traditional Pongal pooja, offering gratitude for a bountiful harvest. Following the prayers, students and staff participated in the preparation of sweet Pongal—a delectable dish made of freshly harvested rice, jaggery, and ghee, symbolizing prosperity and the blessings of nature.

The festivities continued with a series of cultural programs that showcased the traditional arts of Tamil Nadu. Students danced to the rhythmic beats of Tamil folk music, bringing the joyous spirit of the festival to life through their colorful attire and graceful movements. The air was filled with excitement as students engaged in traditional games such as silambattam (a martial art form) and uri adithal (a game of breaking a pot tied to a height), promoting teamwork, laughter, and healthy competition among all.
