Past Projects

At Share and Care, we believe that every child deserves not only education but also the joy of play, the strength of sports, and the confidence that comes with discovering their hidden talents. Through Bhumi, children from villages and schools came together with excitement in their eyes and dreams in their hearts to participate in games. The competition was more than just about winning medals—it was about building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and joy. It gave children a platform where they were seen, celebrated, and motivated to dream bigger.

Caring for the Elderly (1989 – 2006)
Our journey of compassion for the elderly began in 1989 in partnership with HelpAge India. Over the years, we organized several camps where the most vulnerable senior citizens received the care and dignity they deserved.
Through these initiatives, we provided:
- Eye surgery camps – restoring the gift of sight to elders who had lived in darkness.
- Elderly care support – ensuring that aging parents and grandparents were not left alone in their struggles.
Nutritious food and care – bringing comfort and strength to those in their twilight years.

For more than five years, Smile Foundation has been walking alongside Share and Care in our mission to uplift underprivileged children. Their unwavering support has strengthened our formal school education programs, ensuring that hundreds of children not only have access to classrooms but also to quality learning experiences.
Through their support, teachers received training to teach with confidence and care, while children were supported with school bags, uniforms, nutritious food, stationery, and other essentials that many families could not afford. These simple yet powerful gifts lit up the faces of children who, for the first time, could walk into school proudly, carrying their own books and wearing their own uniforms.
